To mark the 120th anniversary of Korean Empire's proclamation, Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) and National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) present Deoksugung Outdoor Project from September 1 through November 26. Deoksugung is where King Gojong (1852~1919, r. 1863~1907) proclaimed the founding of Korean Empire in 1897 and announced the independence of the country to the world.
