1. Gasan ogwangdae (Mask dance drama in Gasan)

2. Suyeong yaryu (Mask dance drama in Suyeong)

e. Note: The villagers make a Daljip (moon house) out of dry wood and straw during the day, and after the moon rises people make their wishes and pray for a good harvest by burning the moon house, inside of which the five cereals (rice, barley, foxtail millet, bean and millet) have been placed.

e. Note: During the Joseon dynasty, navy camps were installed in Gyeongsang-do and Jeolla-do, the two southern provinces that were frequently attacked by the Japanese. Each province had two navy camps called Jwasuyeong (left navy) and Usuyeong (right navy).

8. Songpa dari balgi (Bridge walking in Songpa)

e. Contents: Walking across a bridge, burning a moon house, Gyeonggi folk songs, farmers’ music, torch kindling, and making a wish by burning a piece of paper.
f. Note: The Korean word “dari” means both legs and bridges. Walking across a dari (bridge) symbolizes removing the possibility of contracting any disease on their dari (leg). In a bigger sense, this bridge walking is to pray for one’s spending a year without any disease or disaster.
