Opening of an Agreement on ‘One Cultural Heritage to One Supporter’ between the Hundai Engineering & Construction Company.

The Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) holds an opening of the Agreement on ‘One Cultural Heritage to One Supporter’ (OCHOS) with the Hundai Engineering & Construction Company at the Joseon Hotel, Seoul on Tuesday July 19th. The movement implement the activity on the promotion and preservation of cultural heritages which the company will start it from Changdeokgung palace which is a neighbor of head office.
 
The OCHOS is nation’s voluntary activity that solute the limitation of personnel, budget and organization of the CHA and spread the ‘Care of cultural heritages’ atmosphere such as the preservation of the cultural heritage to the all the level of society such as to individuals, families, companies and groups.

The Hundai Engineering & Construction Company promotes all sorts of the voluntary activity themselves until now and also has been suggested to move on to the ‘cultural heritage field’ since Changdeokgung palace is close to the head office. The company will join with CHA’s project, which shows a new model of the voluntary activity.

So the company may develop the cultural heritage supporter movement start from the 1000 employees as a supporter and further to employees’ family and also plan to sublimate a new concept of voluntary activity that contains fun and meaning. Through the activity, the company itself and culture of the company will achieved the employees’ satisfaction from pursuit of changes, even further the employees’ family will able to share the fruitful experience, and finally hope that end up with customer satisfaction.

The CHA hopes that this Agreement, which declares participation on OCHOS, will compose the new cultural climate within the company and take it as an opportunity to promote and spread the meaning and importance of the cultural heritage supporter movement. And we will try our best so that the entire nation can share and enjoy the results of the productive cooperation.

The CHA is expanding OCHOS project to various companies, and will meet an Agreement with other companies on August to September such as the Posco, Korean Gas Cooperation and Samsung Digital.
