On December 22, the Cultural Heritage Administration donated replicas of the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty and Uigwe, the Royal Protocols of Joseon Dynasty to the Government of Pyeongchang-gun where the 2018 Winter Olympic will be held from February 9 through 25, 2018. These books are the copies from the Odaesan National History Archives in Pyeongchang, one of the five royal libraries built in Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). A special exhibition on these royal books will be opened to the public from January 25 to March 20, 2018 at the Woljeongsa Temple's Odaesan National History Archives Exhibition Hall. This exhibition will be a great chance to understand and appreciate the documentary heritage of Korea in Pyeongchang together with the people coming to see the Olympic Game from all around the world.
