This historical building was constructed in 1933 as Incheon City Hall and played a central role in Incheon’s administration. After the 1945 Liberation, the building was used as Incheon City Hall until it was relocated to Guwol-dong in 1985. It is now used as Jung-gu Office. The building was 2-story high at the time of construction, but it was expanded to 3-story building in 1964. It is a modernism architecture that drew much interest and attention with cutting-edge facilities such as steam heating system and Western toilet system.
