This building was established as the residence of Seo Byeong-guk, a rich man of Daegu area. The building exhibits left-right symmetry around the center entrance, and semicircular arch was used to decorate the entrance porch to stress frontality. The walls were built with red bricks, and white granite stones were used to extravagantly decorate the four corners of the building, upper outer wall, windows, doors, lintel and sill. This representative modern architecture of Daegu is currently used as the office of Daegu Korean Chinese Association.
