This building was reconstructed with ferroconcrete and red bricks in 1928. It is a two-story structure that serves as symbol of Yongsan which was established as the new city and railroad base during the Japanese Occupation.
The building retains its original structure, material and space constitution and shows the characteristics of the transitional period moving from the classical Western architecture to the modern one.
