Established in 1949
Yeongdae Tomb was constructed to protect the tombs of Jeungsan Sangje and his wife. It is located in the very center within Jeungsan Beopjonggyo Headquarters, and an upper floor on top of 2 frontocentral layers stresses the importance of this structure. Samcheongjeon Hall enshrines Jeungsan Maitreya, and sunlight enters through the upper floor window and reflects the golden statue’s face, adding solemn atmosphere to the hall in general. This valuable heritage represents religious movements around Moaksan Mountain during the late Korean Empire period, and it presents data on indigenous religion and trend of modern folk religion.
