Most of the old walls of Dangye Village are made with soil and stone, and they harmonize with traditional farm houses to produce unique scenery. Large stones were piled up to 60-90cm in the bottom, then smaller stones and soil were piled up in alternation above it. The walls are relatively high (approximately 2m), and flat stones were piled above the walls to protrude 6-7cm inwardly and outwardly to support protruding roof tiles on top.
