Old walls of Hamna Village are unique in that they are high although the houses were not that big. In most of the walls, stones were embedded into soil compaction. There are also various forms of walls such as earthen walls, stone walls, and walls using pure stones. Some of the walls were constructed by mixing red clay and straw after putting mold on both sides of the wall. The locals built this cultural heritage on their own, creating unique scenery with Korea’s traditional beauty.
