The Carolina Hall of Paiwha Academy, Seoul was originally founded as a two-story school building in 1915, but was rebuilt as a four-story structure (by adding the third and fourth stories, including the roof floor) in 1922. It is now used as the Science building of Paiwha Girls’s High School.
It consists of a unique indoor spatial configuration comprising an exit and a staircase at the front and rear sides of the building, and classrooms on both sides, which is reflected in the front and rear exterior.
