This roof-less freight car was manufactured in America in 1955 to transport railroad cargo. It was operated chiefly for carrying coals minerals and freight on the Suin Line (Suwon-Songdo, Incheon) and Suyeo Line (Suwon-Yeoju), which were narrower lines than standard ones, and sometimes it was used for carrying the salt produced in the Sorae region. The car stopped its operation at the abolition of Suin Line in 1995 and is currently not in use.
