This storehouse was constructed with the establishment of Byeollyang Financial Association Branch in order to conduct storage business among other financial tasks. This wooden truss roof structure is devoid of pillars inside to enhance the space utilization. The outer wall utilized wooden board finished with corrugated sheet iron, and dormer was installed for efficient lighting and ventilation. This facility played leading role in smuggling out rice produced in the granary of Suncheon during the Japanese Occupation.
