Established around 1945
This military facility is a square bracket-formed concrete structure which is thought to have been used as the communication facilities. Since the 1945 Liberation, the facility was used as a powder dump by the 1st Army Training Camp of the Korean Army. It serves as a witness of Japan’s history of invasion, showing how Japan used Jejudo Island as its base of resistance against its enemies in late phase of the Pacific War.
