Choe Kwang-shik, former director of the National Museum of Korea, was appointed new administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration on February 9. He succeeded Yi Kun-moo, who served as CHA administrator for the past 35 months. In his inaugural address, Mr. Choe emphasized international exchange of cultural heritage, social role of cultural heritage, transparent cultural heritage administration and cultivation of specialized human resources.
