Feast at the Royal Heritage - The Royal Culture Festival
From coming this May 2 to 10 during nine days, 'The Royal Cultural Festival' will be held by CHA(Cultural Heritage Administration of ROK) collaborated with KCHF(Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation).
This festival can be entertained at the heritage sites, four representative royal palaces - Gyeongbokgung, Changgyeonggung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung-, Jongmyo shrine, and Hanyang City wall. By indicating the representative value of Korean aesthetics in architecture featured during Joseon Dynasty for the first in 2014, the palaces centered royal culture has been idealized through this palace heritage festival. Due to the amalgamation of cutting-edge technology with modern spirit, either the tangible or intangible heritage relevant to the palaces was able to be reborn as the unconventional culture content.
The upcoming Royal Culture Festival consisting of 30 programmes and details is enumerated in Palace Culture Calendar attached below.
