The National Palace Museum of Korea (NPMK) re-opens the newly installed exhibition halls on February 2, 2016. The renovated halls are permanent exhibition spaces on the second floor including the galleries exhibiting the themes of Joseon Palaces and Life of Royal Court. Bukgwoldohyeong (Floor Plan of Gyeongbokgung Palace) will be displayed for first time at the gallery of Joseon Palaces while expanded collections presenting the Life of Royal Court welcome the visitors. The NPMK continues a five year plan for the renovation of permanent exhibition halls so that it can display its collections in best-possible environmental conditions and provide high-quality museum services to the visitors.
