I have written to people at the CHA asking about the status of the 수자기, but have received no answer. My understanding is that it is supposed to go back to the USNA in the US in October. If so, that is greatly lamentable. I would hope that there is some effort to at least have the long-term loan to Korea extended (indefinitely, if possible). I campaigned for many years to get the flag to Korea in the first place and, with the efforts put in by the CHA, it happened back in 2007.

What is the plan? Please let me know.
