Korea's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity DVDs published

The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, an affiliate organization of the Cultural Heritage Administration, has published DVDs to introduce five Korea's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity - Namsadang Vagabond Clown's Play, Ganggangsullae Circle Dance, Dance of Cheoyong, Rites of Vulture Peak, and Jeju Rites for Goddess of Wind - which were inscribed on the UNESCO list in 2009. The DVDs produced in three languages - Korean, English and French - is expected to help both Koreans and foreigners to enhance their understanding of the Korean intangible heritage. The videos will be distributed to researchers and relevant institutes in and out of the country and also be accessible at the website of the NRICH (www.nrich.go.kr/eng) soon or later. The running time is 30 minutes.
