Outdoor concert at the Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum of Korea will hold an outdoor concert at the courtyard of the museum on the upcoming weekend, October 9. The musical performance was intended to give visitors diverse experiences and pleasurable opportunity to enjoy outstanding cultural performances at the site of museum. In the concert, both traditional Korean music and contemporary music will be played. The program will begin with a performance of a tango-jazz project group “La Ventana,” that is to be followed by Bongsan Mask Dance (Important Cultural Heritage No. 17) and the performance of music artists including Kwon Jin-won and Jeong Won-yeong Band. Through the concert, many visitors will have an opportunity to appreciate the royal culture of Korea at the museum site, enjoying traditional culture and the performance of many able musicians. It is slated to be held from 14:30 to 17:00 pm and free of charge for every audience.
