The Main Building and Cheongsong Hall of Gyeonggi Commercial High School were established as educational facilities for the Gyeonggi Provincial School of Commerce, which was the first provincial school of Gyeonggi-do Province. The two buildings, which were built and run by example as the Korean-Japanese Engineering Middle School, symbolize the historic significance of a school where both Korean and Japanese students fiercely competed with each other.
