The Quarterly Magazine Published by the Korean Students' Association in Japan, was devoted to academic essays, literary works, and news. Thereafter, five more issues were published. The periodical is known as the first magazine printed in Korean, and played an important role in spreading the importance of modernization and national independence, as well as guiding the Korean public to pay more attention to advanced civilizations and science and technology.
