The Geological Map of Joseon contains diverse geological data including geological information, an explanatory book, and photos of investigation scenes. It is still used for searching information on areas for which geological maps have not yet been produced. As its entire collection of nineteen map books has been fully preserved, it is regarded as a valuable resource for geological studies.
