Geologic Map of Korea, published as a result of a geological survey conducted by Korean researchers in 1956, contains valuable basic data for national land use. Each geological feature of the Korean Peninsula is printed in a different color to allow readers to understand the distribution of geological features around the peninsula. The result of research and publication by Korean scholars, it is a significant geological resource covering the entire Korean Peninsula.
