Release Maritime Cultural Heritage video of Korea

made of Sign language and English

- Underwater excavation, research, and exhibition planning/

12.1.~12.15.(Once a Week, Every Thursday) -


The National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage(Director, Kim SeongBae) affiliated to Cultural Heritage Administration release three contents of Maritime Cultural heritage made of sign language and English on the YouTube channel every Thursday from December 1 to 15.

Since 2016, The National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage have released 172 video contents on YouTube. Clients have requested contents translated in sign language and English. So, three types of video content representing NRIMCH’s tasks were selected and re-produced with sign language and English translation so that people who use those language can understand content of the video.

 

▲ On December 1, a video that shows Excavation Team exploring underwater relics in waters near Yamido Island in Gunsan(In the underwater excavation site) will be released. ▲On December 8, video about survey on the island culture in Wonsan-do, Boryeong-si(Marine Relic Research Team - Island survey site), will be released. ▲On December 15,video about interview with NRIMCH exhibition planner(Visualizing the Past- Maritime cultural heritage exhibition Planner) will be released.

 

The National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage plans to continue to produce customized contents that various customers want to convey value of Korea's maritime cultural heritage.
