Dear Sir or Madame: My name is Miranda Brown, and I am professor of Chinese studies at the University of Michigan. I am currently writing an article for an on-line magazine, Atlas Obscura, on ancient cookbooks around the world. As Atlas Obscura is a private company, I thought I should write for permission. The images in question are of a manuscript copy of the Suunjapbang 需雲雜方 (ca. 1540), and the images are here: http://www.heritage.go.kr/heri/cul/culSelectDetail.do?culPageNo17&region&searchCondition&searchCondition2&s_kdcd&s_ctcd37&ccbaKdcd21&ccbaAsno04350000&ccbaCtcd37&ccbaCpno2113704350000&ccbaCndt&ccbaLcto14&stCcbaAsno&endCcbaAsno&stCcbaAsdt&endCcbaAsdt&ccbaPcd1&chGubun&headerregion&returnUrl%2Fheri%2Fcul%2FculSelectRegionList.do&pageNo__2_2_1_0&snglY&pageNo1_1_2_0

Thank you,
Miranda Brown
