Two documentary films from K-Heritage TV took home awards at the 51st Annual Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival in April of this year. The two winning entries were Korean Gardens and Seowon: The Humanities 500 Years Ago.
K-Heritage TV is an internet-based broadcasting operation specilalizing in the creation and dissemination of audiovisual materials on Korean heritage. The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation joined forces to establish K-Heritage TV in 2010 in an effort to allow a better appreciation of Korean cultural heritage among a wider public.
