 Immersed in the Night View of Gyeongbokgung Palace with the Autumn Night Breeze


- Gyeongbokgung Palace Autumn Night Tour (running Sept. 1 ~ Oct. 29) /
Pre-booking of tickets commences from Aug. 25. (Fri.) at 10:00 a.m. -

On August 25, the Gyeongbokgung Palace Management Office of the Cultural Heritage Administration Royal Palaces and Tombs Center (Director Go Jeong-ju) will commence online reservations for Gyeongbokgung Fall Night Tour, which runs from Sept. 1 to Oct. 29 at 10:00 a.m.
* Night tour dates & times: Sept. 1 ~ Oct. 29 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Last admission at 8:30 p.m.)
* Holidays: △Every Monday & Tuesday, △10.4 (Wed.) (substitute holidays)
* Venues open to night tour: Gwanghwamun, Heungnyemun, Geunjeongjeon, Gyeonghoeru, Sajeongjeon, Gangnyeongjeon, Gyotaejeon, Amisan areas

Gyeongbokgung Palace Night Tour is one of the special programs to visit the palace where you can feel and see the night view of the palace, which you could not normally see, along with the mood of autumn. For the spring night tour in the first half of this year, there were 112,820 visitors tallied, garnering high popularity.

Notably, for this night tour, the number of people who can visit with pre-booked tickets has been increased from 2,500 to 2,700 per day, allowing more visitors to enjoy the nightscape of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and the total number of tickets that can be purchased in advance per person has been expanded from two to four, making it possible for a group tour by a family of four.

2,700 tickets (4 tickets per person) are being sold on a first-come, first-served basis at Ticket 11st (https://ticket.11st.co.kr), and tickets for September will go on sale on August 25 (Fri.), and October tickets go on sale on September 26 (Wed.) at 10 a.m. Foreigners can purchase up to 200 tickets (2 tickets per person) on site at the ticket office in Gwanghwamun on the day of the tour by presenting a valid ID, such as a passport.

Those who are eligible for free tours can enter after presenting their valid ID at Heungnyemun Gate (front gate) to confirm valid proof of their eligibility.
* Eligibility for free admission: Individuals of national merit and their spouses, people with severe disabilities and one accompanying person, people with mild disabilities, holders of distinguished service certificates, infants and toddlers under the age of 6 (booking required for guardians), seniors over the age of 65, and people wearing Hanboks.
