The Training Center for Traditional Culture, a subsidiary body for heritage education of CHA, holds the 2014 International Program for Cultural Heritage Management from August 24 to 31. The program was launched in 2009, and designed to provide heritage education for cultural heritage managers from Asian countries. This year, 17 trainees from 14 Asian countries will participate in the program, selected mainly from ‘Countries of Focus’ of the ROK’s ODA projects. The program includes general lectures on ‘conservation/management of world heritage sites,’ ‘Korea’s wooden architecture’ and others, field trips to the historic village of Yangdong and Changdeokgung Palace and experiencing Korea’s royal cuisine.
