Daehan Empire History Museum is holding a special exhibition, 'Imperial Attire of Daehan Empire' highlighting an imperial attire during the Korean Empire (1897-1910).
This event is part of a special project to feature food, clothing and housing of the Korean Empire. As a first step of this project, this exhibition represents 16 different costumes worn by the kings of Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897) and the emperor of the Korean Empire or newly reproduced afterward.
The event is currently ongoing and will last until December 12 at the exhibition Hall of Daehan Empire History Museum located inside of the Seokjojeon Hall, Deoksugung Palace (www.deoksugung.go.kr).
