Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changgyeonggung Palace Open at Night from April 30 to June 2

The Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) opens the Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Changgyeonggung Palace at night (7 p.m. ~ 10 p.m. / Last admission at 9 p.m.) from April 30 to June 2 for special nighttime viewing so visitors can have a chance to enjoy the beautiful night atmosphere of the palaces. During the 2016 Royal Culture Festival period (from April 30 to May 8), the two major Palaces will be open every day and various events will be held including media fa?ade shows, musical performances, nighttime music concerts, and plays. Furthermore, visitors wearing Hanbok (Korean traditional costume) can enter the Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Changgyeonggung Palace for free during the special nighttime viewing period.
