Free Admission to Royal Palaces and Tombs during Chuseok Holiday
To celebrate Chuseok or Korean Thanksgiving holiday, Cultural Heritage Administration offers free entry to royal palaces and tombs all through Chuseok holiday from September 30 to October 9. During this period, Jongmyo Shrine will also be open to the public for free and no reservations are needed. A variety of cultural events will be presented at each palace, tomb and shrine during Chuseok as followings.
