The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony takes place outside the Deahanmun Gate, Deoksugung Palace at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm every day except Mondays. However, if it rains or the temperature is below minus five degrees Celsius, no ceremony is held. It takes around 40 minutes with the main part lasting 15 minutes. English guides are provided.
